Join Women on the Rise Orlando on Saturday, May 18th for the 3rd Annual Women on the Rise Awards Gala sponsored by FORD Motor Company. This will be a night of celebration as we honor the amazing women of Central Florida making a difference here in the community and in their profession. This is a celebration of women, but men are welcome and encouraged to attend!

Women on the Rise Awards are open to all women within the Orlando Metro area. All nominations must be sent via the website by filling out the nomination form provided. We will not accept any nominations from any other medium.
A nominee may be nominated by someone else or they may nominate themselves. You do not need to be nominated more than once to guarantee your place in the final selection.

Nominations are open to the public.
Finalist selection is by panel of judges of a maximum of 5 nominees per category except in the event of a tie. Finalists are notified may be asked to submit additional information, a headshot and profile for their promotions. Additionally, finalists will be invited to attend the Gala as our special guests.
How to nominate
Before you nominate a person, we suggest you discuss it with the potential nominee so that you can provide adequate details about the person on the nomination form.. Your details and that of your nominee are necessary for us to contact them and keep you updated on their nomination status.
Nominee must be:
18 years and above
Resident within the Orlando Metro area: including Orange County, Osceola County, Seminole County, Lake County, Brevard County, Volusia County, Polk County.
Deeva to Watch – Emerging Leader that has made significant contributions to their profession and their community and has attained leadership positions within their organizations.
Inspirational Deeva – Deeva doing charitable or not for profit work in empowering women and girls.
Community Impact Leader – This Deeva understands the value in community and knows that a part of a full life is to reach back and give to others. This Deeva takes it upon herself to share her time, values, knowledge, network and empower other young women or peers in the community through a mentor/mentee relationship.
Entrepreneur Deeva – Women who have succeeded in building their own businesses.
Deeva Intrepreneur – This Deeva is a leader, contributor, community engager, and committed resident to the greater Orlando area, because she excels in her chosen career despite facing odds based on gender dynamics.
Talented Deeva – Singers, performers, entertainer, TV or Radio personalities, professional make-up artists and hair stylists. Please provide links to video
Young Achiever Deeva – Young women between 18 and 21 who have achieved in business, academics, community service, charitable giving or volunteer work. A scholarship will be awarded to this young lady.
Deeva Influencer – These are opinion drivers, movers and people who are challenging the status quo, influencing change in careers, public and social media, community, politics, etc. They can be said to have more visibility and their voices are often heard more than others.
Social Media Blogger/Vlogger – Social Media influencers that have established social media entrepreneurship through blogging and or vlogging (this includes Instagram as well).
Top Educator – This Deeva contributes back to the community by serving our young people in the classroom offering spirit and imagination while driving results.
Woman on the Rise – This Deeva has overcome great obstacles and has excelled in spite of the challenges that arose.
